Snow Day At The Farm

To me, this is the most wonderful time of the year.  A time when people gather and share in the joy and happiness of the season.  From the bustle of searching for the perfect gift, decorating our homes with lights or sitting by the fire with the ones we love sipping hot chocolate.
 
For myself, what gets me in the "Spirit of Christmas" is loading my family into my old pick-up truck and driving them to the tree farm.  Walking through row after row of trees.  Searching for the perfect one for our home.  Some trees are too short, others are too tall.  Some are too skinny and still others are too fat.  Until you spot the one.  The perfect one for our home to be decorated by our family.
