Just Believe

This painting was based on the scripture in John 20: 24-29 when Jesus appears to all the disciples, but Thomas wasn’t present. Later the disciples told Thomas, we have seen the Lord. Thomas told them, Except I shall see in his hands the print of the nails, and put my finger into the print of the nails, and thrust my hand into his side, I will not Believe .
Eight days later, Jesus appears again before the disciples and Thomas is with them  Jesus said Peace be unto you. Jesus told Thomas reach hither they finger, and behold my hands; and reach hither thy hand, and thrust it into my side: and be not faithless, but believing. Thomas said, My Lord and my God. Jesus said Thomas, because thou hast seen me, thou hast believed: blessed are they that have not seen, and yet have believed.
I have not physically seen the nail prints of Jesus, but because of my Faith I will one day.
